Tondli / Tendli / Ivy Gourds... Spicy Fry

I was searching for tendli recipe on the net. I visited Aayi's recipes and read two three varities of the same veggie. All the recipes were infront of me but my mind was going in circles as to what should I make which would love by my dear husband tastebuds. Finally I decided I will go to the kitchen and start making the veggie by taking parts from each recipe. So here goes my version..

Ingredients:
Tendli (cut in round shape)
Coconut
Garlic (chopped fined)
Red chilli powder
Turmeric
Curry leaves
Mustard Seeds
Oil
Salt

Method:
1. Wash and cut the tendli in round shape.
2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let them crackle. Add curry leaves.
3. Add chopped garlic and fry till golden brown.
4. Add tendli, mix well and fry for 1 min.
5. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric and mix well and cover the pan. Keep checking in between and stirring.
6. Fry till half done and then add coconut. Mix well and cover the pan, stir occassionally and cook till done.
7. Serve with chapati / steamed rice.
